Margherita Cera, LL.M.

Margherita Cera is Attorney at law (Italy) registered with the Bar Association of Venice. She graduated with honors from the University of Padua and later obtained a Master's degree in European and International Intellectual Property Law from the CEIPI in Strasbourg. As the coordinator of the IP practice at Rödl & Partner in Italy, she provides non-litigation assistance to businesses in the valuation of their intangible assets (trademarks, patents, trade secrets, designs, and models), in drafting licensing and intellectual property rights transfer agreements, and in digital transformation processes.

She also offers consultancy in copyright law, particularly in the field of art, including digital art.

Furthermore, Margherita collaborates with the litigation team at the Padua office in civil and commercial law, representing clients before national and international courts and in arbitration proceedings. She also collaborates with the University of Padua as a lecturer in the International Business Lawyer Master's program and regularly holds seminars in Industrial and Competition Law and Commercial Law courses.
