RÖDL Italy cooperates with Venturia S.p.A., the Italian venture builder that connects start-ups and SMEs to create high-growth businesses

Rome, 24 November 2025 – With significant revenues generated by the startups in its portfolio, an operating model that has already produced seven active companies, and a plan to launch five new startups each year, Venturia S.p.A. officially enters the market as one of Italy's first industrial venture builders, supported by Rödl Italy.

Venturia S.p.A. was founded as a venture builder with a clear vision: to transform innovative ideas and projects with high potential into high-growth start-ups, thanks to a co-creation model that is unique in Italy, combining the entrepreneurial strength of the founders with the industrial solidity of SMEs. Venturia is al-ready a proven success: seven start-ups have been launched and are now operational, with significant eco-nomic and industrial performance, and two new initiatives are ready to be launched by the end of the year. Rödl Italy supports Venturia's activities as a venture builder and the start-ups in their legal and tax matters with professionals specialising in the sector, all part of the “StartUp” area of excellence, led by Roberto Pera and Giuseppe Mancini.

Among the most successful companies created within Venturia is Lucen S.p.A., now a fully-fledged SME with total revenues of over 100 million euro and two consecutive years of dividend distributions. Ennexia has been profitable since its second year of operation. Navia has completed two rounds of financing and is establishing itself as one of the most interesting companies in the electric boating sector. Tabulia, Sunlight, Nexalia and MNCLab complete the portfolio.

Venturia operates in a still-young context such as Italy, where the start-up market is rich in potential but also has structural limitations: a still-fragile ecosystem, scarce availability of patient capital, and a lack of systemic connections comparable to those found in other European countries. It is precisely in this context that the venture builder model finds its strength: supporting founders from the very early stages, providing not only capital but also operational expertise, industrial connections and tools for rapid scaling. Unlike incubators and accelerators, a venture builder participates directly in the creation of businesses, reducing the risk of failure and increasing the chances of success. Rödl Italy strongly believes in this strategy.

Venturia's winning model is based on a distinctive formula: pairing each founder with an SME interested in developing innovative projects in strategic sectors. Venturia defines itself as a venture builder with an industrial platform: it co-creates new start-ups by bringing together selected founders and SME/corporate “anchors” for each project. This approach combines entrepreneurial creativity with industrial assets, channels and expertise, reducing time-to-market and increasing the chances of success. Venturia is not a captive corporate venture builder, but rather designs tailor-made industrial partnerships, maintaining independent governance and an international scope. In this international context, Rödl, as a global law firm with offices in major industrialised countries, is able to offer its contribution.

Venturia's corporate structure is composed of high-profile individuals: in addition to founder and CEO Giuseppe Mancini, there is the Arturian Group, active in the construction, energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors, led by Adriano Dulizia, who also serves as chairman of Venturia S.p.A. The team is completed by highly experienced managers and professionals, with strategic roles on the Board of Directors and in the company's operational management, including Andrea Zanza, Leonardo Castelli and Daniele Dell'Ariccia, supported by Dr. Emanuele Spagnoletti Zeuli of Rödl Italy.

Venturia's strategic objectives for the coming years include the launch of at least five new start-ups per year, the consolidation of the model at European level and the entry of new partners and institutional capital. Venturia aims to build an ecosystem in which SMEs and entrepreneurs actively collaborate to create shared, measurable and scalable value.
