INDUS Group acquires biodecontamination specialist AMIRA in Italy

​​​​​​​​​​Bolzano | Padua, 1 March 2026​ – M. BRAUN Inertgas-Systeme GmbH (MBRAUN) – a subsidiary of INDUS Group – has signed the purchase agreement for the acquisition of Amira S.r.l. The Italian company, specialized in biodecontamination solutions based on vaporized hydrogen peroxide (V-PHP), boasts more than 20 years of experience in the safe and rapid sterilization and decontamination of laboratory and production environments.


With its registered office and manufacturing facility in Triuggio, north of Milan, the SME generates annual revenues exceeding EUR 7 million. The transaction is subject to approval by the competent Italian authorities.

Listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, INDUS Group is an independent German industrial group operating as a holding company with equity interests in highly specialized manufacturing and technology-driven SMEs. Rödl Italy assisted the purchaser with its legal team that carried out the Due Diligence and handled all the contractual aspects and transaction documentation. The team was led by Attorney-at-law (Italy) and Rechtsanwältin Svenja Bartels, Managing Partner of the Padua office, and included, among others, Attorney-at-law (Italy) Marco Nichele, Senior Associate. The financial and tax aspects of the transaction were overseen by Thomas Giuliani, Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor (Italy), Managing Partner of the Bolzano office, together with Federica Stramezzi, Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor (Italy), Associate Partner, and Erald Karriqi, Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor (Italy), Manager.

LawaL Legal & Tax Advisory advised the selling shareholders with a team coordinated by Piergiorgio Mancone, led by Andrea Villani (pictured) and including Marco Baio.

As financial advisor, Amira was assisted by Kon S.p.A., with a team led by Partner Fabio Ferrini, throughout all the phases of the M&A transaction, from deal structuring to signing.
