Milan, 10 September 2025 – Rödl & Partner, one of the world's leading multidisciplinary consulting firms, continued its multi-year growth trajectory in the 2024 financial year, with significant results also in our country. Global turnover rose to 731.8 million euros (+10.4 per cent), while in Italy, turnover reached a record 33.3 million euros (+10.4 per cent). This result was achieved thanks to the interdisciplinary consulting services offered by the offices in Milan, Rome, Padua and Bolzano.

"The fact that we are continuing to grow at double-digit rates despite the uncertain economic and geopolitical situation shows that the formula of interdisciplinary consulting combined with an entrepreneurial and pragmatic approach continues to be a winning one," states Stefan Brandes, Managing Partner of Rödl & Partner Italy. "We will also continue with our IT investments (including Artificial Intelligence) to streamline and improve the efficiency of our processes, without however impacting the reliability of our specialist and qualified consulting services, as reliability and practical solutions are and will remain at the heart of our consulting."

Strong development in all service lines

Revenue growth in 2024 affected all areas of activity at Rödl & Partner Italy, with particularly strong performance in the fields of M&A, national and international tax consulting, tax dispute resolution, energy, life sciences and labour law.

Interdisciplinary advice from a single source

"Thanks to our international range of advisory services, as a globally active firm, we are able to understand the needs and requirements of our clients and offer them tailored solutions," claimed Prof. Dr Christian Rödl, Chairman of the Management Board of Rödl & Partner, explaining the main reason for last year's growth. "The increasing globalisation of our clients leads to a diverse mix of traditional areas of advice such as tax consulting and legal advisory as well as increasingly specialised compliance and data protection issues. An individualised approach from company to company and country to country is essential in order to develop the best possible solutions. Our clients benefit from our interdisciplinary approach when it comes to fulfilling complex requirements."

Trailblazing use of AI

Rödl & Partner continues to invest heavily in IT to remain at the forefront of process automation and the use of artificial intelligence-based technologies. In accordance with the of the European AI Act, the firm has implemented advanced technological solutions that integrate AI into internal processes and consulting services, while ensuring full compliance with current regulations, data protection and professional integrity. Thanks to constant investment in the interdisciplinary training of its professionals and active participation in round tables on AI, cybersecurity and compliance, Rödl & Partner continues to be a leader in driving the digital evolution of the legal and tax sector, with a vision that combines operational efficiency, ethical responsibility and added value for the client.

Social commitment and internal projects

Rödl & Partner Italy places great value to young talent, considering them a strategic resource for the future. The firm constantly invests in their professional and personal growth, including through initiatives such as the Young Desk, designed to encourage discussion, training and the emergence of new ideas. In 2024, several projects were carried out, including voluntary collaboration, consolidating the firm's social responsibility and commitment, which has always been close to its heart, both nationally and globally.

International cooperation

"The geopolitical changes make it clear that economic growth can only be achieved through global cooperation," claims Christian Rödl. For this reason, on 3 July 2025, Rödl & Partner organised the 26th Global Forum in Nuremberg, with the aim of illustrating the investment opportunities offered by the current situation to companies operating globally. As one of the largest foreign trade events in Germany, the Global Forum offers the opportunity to learn about all opportunities and challenges of the global markets. The event brings together the concentrated expertise of the 50 countries in which Rödl & Partner is operative in one place.
